Xander D'Ambrosio was born in 1987 and is a Massachusetts native. He currently lives in Spruce Pine, NC where he is employed at a glass production shop. When not working he develops his own work. Xander’s work is based in traditional cane and murrine making techniques borrowed from the many centuries of glass history. He takes great inspiration from the work of biologist Ernst Haeckel, traditional Islamic architecture/geometry, and an adoration for all things in science and nature.
